Pine Ridge Ranch Boarders

Pine Ridge Ranch is happy to introduce you to our current boarders. We are very fortunate to have such a great bunch of people at our barn. Everyone is willing to lend a hand to whatever task is underway and to help each other out on any given day. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that friendships have been and continue to be made which will surely last after the horses move on or away for one reason or another.

LILLY - 1997 Arabian Mare

Lilly is a well trained, sweet tempered mare belonging to Nancy. She has had one months refresher training to get her back into shape and impressed her trainer with her knowledge & capabilities. Congratulations to her and owner Nancy for their dedication and hard work getting 'back in the saddle' this past summer. Keep up the good work girls!

Chase - 2006 Appaloosa Gelding

Chase is a 2 year old appaloosa colt, originally from K & J Bridgeman's in Manitoba. He is now much loved by Lisa and her daughters, Elizabeth & Jennifer. Chase spent 2 months with a trainer this summer and didn't disappoint - He is as much of a sweetheart under saddle as he is everyday. 

Alexx - 11 year old Arabian Gelding

Alexx, or Elvis as he has been nicknamed by Doug, has belonged to his owner Kim since before he was born. Kim & Alexx have both worked incredibly hard this summer, Alexx spent 2 months with his trainer Brigitte Dorey & Kim has continued with her lessons faithfully. I'm so happy for them both that their hard work has paid off for them - they have turned into a great team together!!

Fancy - 2005 QH Mare

Fancy is Natalie's new show horse and she is 'Fancy' for sure! Natalie & Fancy will be going to a number of shows this summer which will be great motivation for me & the other boarders to join in!

Selah - 2006 Arabian Mare

Selah also belongs to Nancy and has also worked very hard this summer. She was at the trainers for 2 full months and surprised most people with how quickly she accepted her rider and the way she seems to take care of her rider for a young horse. Won't be long until she's caught up to Lilly!

Copper - 2007 Appendix QH Gelding

Copper is also owned by Lisa, Elizabeth & Jennifer. He has been introduced to a saddle and bridle and handled it like a pro. He's even had Lisa on him and was great. I'm asking Lisa to choose the next horse I buy -  she sure seems to have an eye for the the quiet ones!! lol

 

Travis - 5 Yr old Quarter Horse Gelding

Travis is very much loved by his girls Julia & Emma and their parents Anne & Steve. Travis has muscled up and put on weight and looks fantastic! He is back under saddle and doing well. Emma has introduced him to jumping this summer and he LOVES IT !! 

Billy Bob - 1991 Rocky Mountain Horse X

We are all thrilled to welcome Lynn back to the barn with her new horse Billy Bob Smile  Billy Bob is a been-there/done-that kinda fellow with a personality that just doesn't quit! He's broke to ride & broke to drive and is gaited to boot! We all keep Lynn & him busy taking us for buggy rides & letting us experience riding a gaited horse. Between the two of them they have alot to teach us!!
